A good point, but, I think that Shays is saying that we should employ the Rahmbo strategy of recruiting candidates that adhere to constituents at home. They stick to the big stuff with the party and pander to the folks at home on the little stuff. Is it sleazy, probably, is it dishonest, definitely, but, we are talking Bolshecrats. If you have a litmus test for who can be in your party, it is going to very small and very unhappy. The point is not to bicker over who is the most Republican, but, to point out where the opponent is wrong. Don’t fight yourselves, batter the other guy.

If the entire Republican delegation in the House switched party could they name the next speaker. Blue dogs and bluer dogs rule. I expect we would have the spectacle of the Bolshies deciding who can be members.
