Can the Republicans hold up Obama’s nominees the way the Dems blocked Bush’s choices? Can the Republicans call all the Dem choices extremist and use that as an excuse to prevent a vote on his nominees?
Senate Republicans? Highly unlikely, unless things change radically in the 2010 midterms. And the Dems won't hesitate to use the nuclear option if they find a Republican filibuster inconvenient to their agenda.
