It’s reached the point of pure dementia. They KNOW what they are but contrive to examine it as if they’ve never met themselves. It’s, ah, um, demented.
Reminds me of when McCain’s commercial showed that Fannie May’s CEO was Obama’s adviser, citing the Washington Post, twice. And the Washington Post criticized this commercial, saying that McCain shouldn’t have believed what he read in their paper.
