According to a post on another site (with a link to the USSC site) Justice Souter has ordered Obama to produce his BC to the Supreme Court by Dec. 1. This is apparently a part of the Phillip Berg lawsuit.
The Supremes seldom tell us why they do things the way they do so we have to do some guessing here.
Berg petitioned the SC to postpone the election: That was denied but he also petitioned them to verify Obama’s citizenship and they are working on that now.
Folks, if they find that he is not legally qualified to be President we are in for some “interesting” times. Prepare yourselves accordingly.
I hate to point this out, but the million will never be paid, because the Supreme Court doesn’t certify birth certificates.
Interesting question. I do not see how she could be charged with anything other than upholding the law, which states that such information can not be released unless requested by authorized person-Obama or maybe relative.
A court could order her to release the info, but so far that has not happened.
I have a certified copy of my birth certificate.
It is impressed with the official seal of the State of New York, and signed under penalty of perjury by one of the people at the NYS dept of vital statistics.
Hasn’t got a single thing to do with the Supreme Court. Doesn’t have to.
To get the million dollars, it has to be certified by the Supreme Court.

Who will authenticate the document since the last one was declared a forgery? Who in this country can be trust anymore?
Perhaps we should start a duplicate matching fund raising team and up the ante as well as hype the issue. If no one can satisfy the claim, we could donate the collected funds to a legitimate charity.
The charity I have in mind is “Saving America and our military.” We can start with raising money to hire investigators to expose the illegal contributions and voter fraud last Tuesday. It’s obvious that no one in DC will do it. Anyone have any other ideas.? We can include corrupt politicians in that investigation. They, too, will not be exposed unless the American people do it.
Power corrupts and we have a lot of corruption in every level of government.
Funds also need to be raised so that we can find conservative candidates with spine, guts, and gonads to run against every incumbant.

You are right, I didn’t read it close enough.
The Supreme Court will decide a question of law. Not a question of fact.
But the burden of proof that he is eligible in on Obama. I presume he must have signed something to be a candidate.
