I started the process of acquiring my Tennessee carry permit Saturday; I completed the course work and shooting 48 rounds at various distances. Now here is the question - Do I want Komrad Obama to know that I have a gun and allowed to carry it? In tenessee the carry permit is included in the data base the cops access during traffic stops. I have not purchased a firearm since the era of the instant background check except two rifles through the curio and relic law.
In which case, they already “know” you have multiple guns, so you might as well get the permit.
I have read some more comments and suggest that y’all abandon this confiscation idea. Confiscation will require a costitutional amendment, just like an amendment was needed to end savery.
