I would not put 5 cents into this. It is such a scam, does nothing to actually solve the problem. If there is a problem.
This is completely nuts.

Think hundreds of billions in personal wealth. And... because its an international carbon market... you get to park most of in in Switzerland, tax free. Oh to be a Democrat! The riches! The Power!

Maryland PA and Delaware are already in a 3 state scheme to tax utility producers for “Carbon credits”
Maryland for its share, was proud to collect $16 million from our utility providers, in new taxes, for just first month of this scheme. Taxes collected by an unelected body, giving utility businesses the right to bid with this unelected body, to stay in business.
Oh, $8 million of that supposedly goes into a fund to pay the inevitably rising bills of “poor people”.
The rest...well, it supports the bureaucracy of collecting ever more taxes...and lots of high paying executive and lobbyist jobs for the well connected.
The business on which this new tax empire is being built?? keeping us warm this winter. keeping the lights on. Keeping businesses open.
All this stuff is buried in the back sections of your newspapers.
