Don’t forget “The Few”.
Grp. Capt.Doug Bader got his legs shot off and went back to flying with prosthetics, earning the nickname “Tin Legs” Bader.
Just one of many examples.
I looked around on your link!
Lots of pop ups.....Anyways, I think this is funny (or scary!)...... Steve X (BO) will begin playing officially the role that he is not an American on Halloween (unless Illuminati slightly change the date to prove Prophet wrong).
Wasn’t that Alfred dinner on Halloween where he “jokingly” said my real name is “Steve”! Everyone thought that was just hilarious.
Perhaps we should start a permanent prayer chain for the ALL the Justices in SCOTUS! :-)
At least let them be healthy for the next 4 years. In 2012 hopefully America will have opened it’s eyes to the truths about PEO and his socialistic policies of ‘spreading the wealth’ around!
Interesting you say this - I thought the same thing! I almost got the feeling that some of the things McCain did were so risky (calling off the debate ...) that only someone who didn’t want to win would do them. Even some of the commercials were so lame, you’d think the opponents were running the show. I think the only person who had her heart in this 100% was Sarah Palin.
Not a bad idea, but let’s have a few IV’s standing by just in case we need to keep them going.
Obama soothes so much with his hynpotic talking when he is on game that he just wanders about over any issue and says nothing but comes off as reasonable and reassuring.
in the 70s, between that and his love of cocaine and quaaludes I can imagine he must have been in the ‘nani high cotton
Second doesn’t compute. There are no true “conservatives” who are lined up against Palin as the future of the GOP.
Fair enough - but there are certainly plenty of Republicans who are, especially of the Northeast RINO variety.
And why not? They’ve done such a great job getting elected in their part of the country... /heavy sarc off
Obama managed to conflate a multi-century narrative into his own personal quest. Ultimately, that was a huge part of what got him the Presidency and it will need to be addressed directly by someone who embodies a more powerful narrative and does it more convincingly.
That person is Sarah Palin, which is one of many reasons why she needs to be the nominee in 2012.
Yes, I’d forgotten about Bader! What an amazing man he was! The movie “Reach for the Sky” is a great chronicle of his courage! GOOD CATCH, EP!
Incidentally ... Doug Bader lost his legs not because he was shot in combat, but because he was showing off as a cocky pilot ... crashed his plane, and was so badly injured that both of his legs had to be amputated. He learned to walk using prosthetic legs. All of that happened before WWII began. But he managed to get back in the Royal Air Force (they really needed pilots), became a squadron leader, and was shot down over occupied Europe, became a POW, and escaped a bunch of times, but they kept recapturing him. Still, he was a hero of the first magnitude!
I don’t know about all that other stuff, but I remember when President Bush wanted to reform Social Security and Medicare. The Dems stopped that cold. Everything I read at the time pointed to massive expenditures expected as the Baby Boomers all started to retire in 2010 and beyond. Put that together with what’s happening now, and I wouldn’t want to be in charge either!
Dont' read too much into it. McCain was hoping to get some free mileage in the MSM, that's all.
So is that like stabbing your base in the back every chance they get?
Not helping conservative candidates but yes helping liberal ones?
By nominating the one who will surely lose the election?
By not screaming loud and long about the antics of the Democrats, such as; thier participation in voter fraud, involvement in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, tireless support of socialists the world over, making illegal entry easier for terrorists?
Continued unquestioning support for Bush and his failed domestic policy?
helping to pass record-smashing deficit budgets?
Growing the goverment instead of the economy?
You mean like that?
Strange; nobody else has ever said anything about it before you. You must be mistaken.
The Black Man has gotten his fondest wish. Take care what you wish for. . .
