It was incredibly odd!
I want America to succeed. For eight years, there has been a party hoping and working for Bush to fail even if it would be bad for America.
I will not be one of those. If Obama proposes conservative policies that will help America to come out of recession, create jobs, etc. I will support those.
If he proposes left wing stupid stuff, I will not support them, the Pubbies better not either. Dems have the majority, do not give them cover - oppose them when they are wrong(should I say that will likely be most of the time?)
I don’t know if this has been mentioned yet or not (I didn’t see it in a quick lookthrough of the previous posts), but this seems VERY reminiscent of Clinton coming out of his meeting with Ronald Reagan in early 1993 and having his folks put out word that Reagan had voted for him and not Bush.
I smell a complete setup here. Obama mocks Nancy Reagan, justifying a phone call that is falsely portrayed by the Obama folks as “warm”. And the GOP has limited ability to counter the Obama lies (especially given the news that FoxNews has completely gone in the tank for Obama).
It is funny how the Dems keep running to Reagan and his legacy as PR stunts to build goodwill for themselves, given how they ridiculed him when he was in office.

My jaw dropped when I found out Maher rejects the idea of immunizations because he oesn’t believe in germ theory. I mean, I knew he was dumb, but...whoa.

I heard this remark and saw that smirk and all I could think of was the smirk on Obama’s face when he flipped off Hillary and John McCain during the course of the campaign.
