Back during the Clarence Thomas hearings, I decided I wanted a conservative/libertarian-leaning Justice on the Supremes, and I decided to not be concerned about imperfections.

I annoyed several female feminist co-workers when I said "I don't believe any of Anita Hill's accusations, and I would still support Clarence Thomas if EVERY SINGLE ONE of her accusations were true."

I am declaring ahead of time, that if I am confident that a candidate with work for social and economic liberty, that I will not care about any imperfections in their personal life, except where such are indicators of grave failures of character. I will not care about what they smoked in college (I smoked plenty, and I am still conservative). I will not care about who or what they slept with (within reason), and I will not care what they drive.
