I'm not sure what the RNC can do but it needs to be at least looked into. Primaries are controlled by the individual states. Here in Texas for instance, anyone can vote in whatever primary they want to, but only one primary. Democrats, since Obama will likely be unopposed, can vote in the Republican primary.

This is a problem. Zero would dispatch his minions to vote against any strong candidate, especially a woman like Gov. Palin.

Ok, so if it’s determined by the state how they hold thier primaries, what can be done to open them only to Repubs and Indies. MsSmith makes a good point about needing indies input, since they will be voting in the general...i’m assuming we have to appeal to the our own states RNC, but how? can the registered repubs in that state make a case to the RNC to change the policy on the primaries???
