I don’t think that’s what most folks had in mind when Obama said ‘change’

Did you ever think a guy like this would be elected to the WH?

Unfortunately yes, but I didn't think it would happen this soon. Until the other, more Conservative, Republican candidates dropped out of the primary, one by one, BEFORE I EVEN GOT A SAY IN THE MATTER. Then I was pretty sure it would happen, this election cycle. Of course I well remember Bob Dull, when we should have had Phil Gramm, who while not perfect, is at least interesting. And of course I also remember when another American War Hero, another Navy pilot in fact, was turned out for a dope smoking hippy draft dodger. So yea, I figured it would happen, sooner or later.

I was really hoping for later, much, much later. Although now that it has happened I wish it had happened sooner before I got old and arthritic, so I could help save the future of my kids, and now grand kids.

I went to AmeriCorps. http://www.americorpsalums.org/ At bottom left, I found this —> 1- Alums Career Center.
2- Professional Development Series
3- Jobs For Change (a Change.org initiative) THE LAST LINK TOOK ME TO
(Change.gov) A job listing on the right side of page lists National Media Coordinator
at CODEPINK
Cause: Peace in the Middle East

But I still don’t think AmeriCorps should be helping people find a jobs with groups like CODE PINK.
