Yes, the first thought that occurred to me was Rosebud - Citizen Kane. Not really ally that cute.

The Dick Van Dyke Show was before my time — this is rarely the case! — but I do remember one of the few episodes I have seen. In it, Rob and Laura explained that the reason Richie's middle name is Rosebud is because that's an mnemonic for all the names R and L toyed with naming their son: Robert, Oscar, Samuel, Edward, Ulysses, David.
