Hello all!
I have a question:
Does anyone out there have a recommendation for a GOOD basic American History text? I had a pretty good one in college, but I didnt hang onto it, and just realized I dont have a good reference on the subject. I would appreciate some suggestions.
I taped the John Adams series, and it was wonderful, but would like something broader, and in book form! I also love the musical “1776” but want more detail than it has.
THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!

Even More Palin Cluelessness [UPDATED]
Update: Oythis would appear to be a hoax. Apologies.
After the original report that Palin didnt know whether Africa was a country or a continent, I complained that people were being too credulous about her supposed cluelessness. Looks like I committed the same sin (although I actually find these clams are a lot more believable than that one). .....
