My church has been protested numerous times. In those cases the protestors stood outside on the sidewalk with their signs. Gets hot in the florida sun so our pastor took cold bottles of water out to them.

Not sure what would have happened if they had come in like this. I certainly don’t see letting them beat up an old lady though.

They come into my church with clubs covering their faces? You bet I will feel threatened. And when the police get there there will be a nice neat row of protester lying face down on the ground with their fingers laced behind their heads.

We once had a sister shot by her former boyfriend during service. Since then we take all threats seriously and several members carry.

Another good reason to have a handy cam. If the’re distubing the peace - call the cops. If the protesters were standing on public or church property, the tape should be admissable as evidence of the noise making. I’m not a leagal hound, there may be other things you need to do.

Some "men" in this church ought to take a stick fighting/defense class and prepare for confronting disorderly mobs with police like riot control tactics.

No shooting. Just the use and/or threatened use of physical force on tresspassers who are causing public disorder and disrupting this peaceful assembly. If the rioters have video cams, crush 'em and confiscate them.
