Exactly. Why DID Bush go with Gates and why did he go with Paulson?
I figured the two of them were just chair warmers anyway; especially Gates.
Paulson = financial bailout. Think that was a bad decision, but supposedly the whole world was relying on us.
Gates was a great person for the job regardless of his politics? I understand though, that a majority of military personnel do not register with the two big parties, for just this reason.
