READING Thurston Clarke's "The Last Campaign," a detailed account of RFK's 1968 run for president, I'm struck by similarities between back then and now.
In style, message and even some language, Bobby Kennedy's campaign shows some resemblance to Barack Obama's.
I'm not arguing that Obama's another Kennedy (all candidates, like all people, are different) or that "Obamalot" is coming to Washington

Peas in a pod? Yeah. One was assassinated and the other’s buddy praised the guy who assassinated him. How cool is that?
What a terrible disservice to the memory of Bobby Kennedy.
From Fox News, October 30, 2008:
This is a rush transcript from "Hannity & Colmes," October 30, 2008. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.
SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: And there is another breaking development tonight concerning the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers. Now "Hannity & Colmes" has, in fact, obtained a copy of this book. It is written by Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn in 1974. It's called "Prairie Fire: The Politics of Revolutionary Anti-Imperialism."
Now this book proved very difficult to obtain. Even in the New York City Public Library, one of the largest libraries in the world could not provide us with a copy of this book.
Now the book reads like a manifesto of the Weather Underground but the most shocking thing is on the dedication page. Mr. Ayers and his band of terrorists devote the book to, quote, "all political prisoners in the U.S.," and the book then lists about 100 or so names.
Among the names they list a U.S. political prisoner, Sirhan Sirhan. That's right. This college professor, who is just a guy from the neighborhood who never meant to hurt anybody, who bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol, New York City police headquarters, dedicated his book to the man who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy.

Bobby Kennedy had actually done some things before running for President.
Oh brother. As if Hussein Obama needs anything else to make his head swell.
JFK was a hero and injured in WWII.
Obama was a cretin and got a splinter during a community activist protest because a union made his protest sign.
JFK was Catholic
Hussein Obama is.... something. Even he’s not sure
JFK cut taxes to stimulate the economy
Hussein Obama will raise taxes to redistribute wealth
JFK had a devout wife and mother to their children
Hussein Obama has a harpy for a wife who can’t wait to pawn their kids off on private school or Grandmother
Other than this, OK, I can make the connection.
Ah, well, I got the Kennedy wrong. That’s ok. They’re all inbred anyhow so it makes little difference
;-)
At least both RJK and JFK took on the communists and corrupt labor leaders. BHO is friends with communists and corrupt labor leaders.
