There are leftists and there are liberals. They are not always the same thing.

I have to respect Camille Pagila. She has a personally partisan point of view but she sees through a lot of baloney on both sides and isn’t afraid to say so. Therefore I value her opinion.

Good words regarding Sarah here. She's the future for conservatives in the GOP...and she ceretainly is extremely popular, as well she should be.
...and the libs (and RINOs) hate her for it...and fear her to their liberal and RINO cores.
They will constantly go after her for the next four and more years.
But we can help her.
IMHO, we simply must write our GOP senators and urge them to stand.
While standing up in any way we can ourselves over these next four years until we can turn this OBAMANATION out.
Many more designs here.

Rush tells the story of being seated next to Paglia at some dinner (the hosts hoping for Fireworks).. they got on Famously!
At least this one does have some common sense... a rare commodity anymore.

Mark to read tomorrow. Paglia is an example of a sane feminist. No, wait, she is the only sane feminist.

Thanks for posting this. I’m sure the libs can’t wrap their heads around Paglia’s Palin support.

Oh, yeah. Now that the election is over we can count on Obama to be non-partisan and the main stream media fair and balanced about him.

Given that Obama had served on a Chicago board with Ayers and approved funding of a leftist educational project sponsored by Ayers, one might think that the unrepentant Ayers-Dohrn couple might be of some interest to the national media. But no, reporters have been too busy playing mini-badminton with every random spitball about Sarah Palin, who has been subjected to an atrocious and at times delusional level of defamation merely because she has the temerity to hold pro-life views. How dare Palin not embrace abortion as the ultimate civilized ideal of modern culture? How tacky that she speaks in a vivacious regional accent indistinguishable from that of Western Canada! How risible that she graduated from the State University of Idaho and not one of those plush, pampered commodes of received opinion whose graduates, in their rush to believe the worst about her, have demonstrated that, when it comes to sifting evidence, they don't know their asses from their elbows. Liberal Democrats are going to wake up from their sadomasochistic, anti-Palin orgy with a very big hangover. The evil genie released during this sorry episode will not so easily go back into its bottle. A shocking level of irrational emotionalism and at times infantile rage was exposed at the heart of current Democratic ideology -- contradicting Democratic core principles of compassion, tolerance and independent thought. One would have to look back to the Eisenhower 1950s for parallels to this grotesque lock-step parade of bourgeois provincialism, shallow groupthink and blind prejudice. BTTT!

Don’t let any of them fool you. I expect a little more fair media coverage to come forth for a little while now that they have elected their “god”. It a ruse to make people forget that they were utterly corrupted in their news coverage during the campaign. Not even so much that they tore our candidate for Vice President to shreds over absolutely nothing but that they didn’t report a hundred things about Obama, any of which just one of them should of been enough to have put his campaign buried deep into the garbage can of American history and he possibly in jail for who knows how long. He is the sleaziest candidate to ever have come onto the stage of American politics bar none. And that may not be so bad but he is likely very dangerous to boot. And the msm had a total blackout of all pertinent facts from the American public that they were to serve with the truth.

This writer seems a strange one to be speaking of neurotics and psychotics. To say the very least, she seems conflicted.

I like Sarah Palin, and I've heartily enjoyed her arrival on the national stage. As a career classroom teacher, I can see how smart she is -- and quite frankly, I think the people who don't see it are the stupid ones, wrapped in the fuzzy mummy-gauze of their own worn-out partisan dogma. So she doesn't speak the King's English -- big whoop! There is a powerful clarity of consciousness in her eyes. She uses language with the jumps, breaks and rippling momentum of a be-bop saxophonist. I stand on what I said (as a staunch pro-choice advocate) in my last two columns -- that Palin as a pro-life wife, mother and ambitious professional represents the next big shift in feminism. Pro-life women will save feminism by expanding it, particularly into the more traditional Third World. Bang! POW!!! ;)

One of the things to remember about Paglia (an American of Italian descent) is that she lived this back when NOKD was serious business on Ivy League campuses and the social and cultural elite that they fed into.

Paglia is upfront about her opinions and doesn’t seem to be any friend of the lefty academic world. That’s a big plus in my book!
As for Dohrn and Ayers, they should have been strung up or locked away for a long, long time. But virtually none of the 70s violent radicals got what they deserved when they were finally caught. Look at Patty Hearst and Angela Davis, for example. They’re doing just fine now.
In any case, Ayers and Dohrn are no doubt running Obama, and I thought it was interesting that Paglia would point out that Dohrn appears to be the more dominant partner. That’s possibly true, and of course, she was an associate of Michelle Obama, who in my opinion is probably even more radical and hate-filled than her husband. I’m sure Dohrn has done what she could to encourage this.

Paglia is an example of a sane feminist. No, wait, she is the only sane feminist. No, there are at least two others. A third is rumored to exist.
Paglia and Rush have done lunch periodically for years. They get along very well, and her lesbianism isn't an issue. She says she just is, but she doesn't run around trying to get into girls' schools to lead away a tithe of virgins, like some of the politically-active groups appear to be trying to do, or demand that other people drop their own definition of what is sexually normative.
Tammy Bruce is another example.
