Usually no one can hit the side of a barn with one. What kind of groups are you getting with it.

The Ranch Rifle is supposed to be much more accurate.

Yesterday, the first time I shot it (Tues), from 50 yards, it was low and right, but they were all in a nice grouping, all within the entire quadrant and pretty close. I was standing up

Today I went from 15 yard, standing, sitting, and propped up, and I got the same thing, all right and low, most in the black area.

From 100 yards, 30 shots, 23 were all on the right side of the target, high and low, and 7 missed completely.

This is my first time rifle shooting in about 15 years.

I had one and sold it because it was very inaccurate. With a scope the group was about 6 inches at 100yards. With my Garand I could get 4 inch groups with the iron sights. It is a shame because the Mini-14 is a good looking rifle. I have read that Ruger has developed a new Mini-14 with a better and heavier barrel that they claim is much more accurate.
