Your comments about what would constitute good protection here, seem to miss the mark in one consideration. We should not have our gun rights denied. On the other hand we shouldn’t make a choice to put ourselves in a predicament like this, then pull a gun to get ourselves out of it.
If she were on her corner and they on theirs, and she was physically accosted, I’d have to say she was within her rights.
If she walked over close to these folks and they gathered around her, I think she would be the one using poor judgment.
