I saw the interview. Jindal is brilliant; he seems to have command knowledge of all the important issues. He will definitely be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Glad he’s on our side!

I agree. Jindal is very impressive. He should give strong consideration to running for President in 2012.

Jindal is all of that. However, like all geeks (I are one, so I know whereof I speak), he appears to be somewhat lacking in the charisma category. This is why a Jindal-Palin ticket makes the most sense to me. He has the brains, she has the charisma. All the "old-school" Republicans (Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee) are too weighed down as losers who couldn't even beat John McCain.

Dittos on that. I am leaning heavily to Jindal for 2012. He has an excellent ability to articulate our positions with the ease and comfort that I haven’t seen since Reagan. That kind of ‘ease and comfort’ only comes with core conservative principles and belief.

I love Sarah Palin too and hope that she continues to rise as a star player in our party, perhaps on a Jindal ticket. Jindal also has an ability to educate and convince folks with his intelligence, command of the issues, candor and witt.

JINDAL/PALIN 2012

He’s really become much smoother with interviews just in the last 10-12 months. I don’t know whether he’ll come across as appealingly with the masses as Palin, but he speaks on a level that assumes much more sophistication from his audience. In that way he is both easier to listen to and able to say much more. He is also much more on message on its being about the message instead of the messenger.

Finally, he has the significant benefit of not having been made a national joke already, and the Democrats won’t be able to demonize him as either evil or stupid. What they’ll go after, I assume, is his strong religious beliefs and conversion, including, if I recall correctly, his reported experience with an exorcism bck when he was a student.

True, but the country may be ready by then to trade in a charismatic failure (obama) for someone who actually UNDERSTANDS how things work.

After listening to hours and hours of stumbling, fumbling rhetoric promoting some vague “CHANGE”, it is refreshing to hear specific ideas for REAL change. It is even sweeter to hear it from our side.

I am okay with either Palin/Jindal or Jindal/Palin. The Republicans will finally decide that in the primary. I hope Jindal if elected will not make the same mistake Obama did by booting Hillary. We have to see how the base likes Jindal. Sarah is already a known commodity among the bases with her folksy charms and “Drill,BabymDrill” comments. Besides she is a real American. The nation just got over its white guilt by electing a black (or half white) president. Are they ready for a minority President? If Obama maniacs are successful in destroying Sarah then we have an excellent back up in Jindal. Any way the future looks bright for Repubs with so many young leaders whereas Dems look spent. Who will be the leader after 8 years? Young Chelsea Clinton?

yeah we need problem solvers, not just talkers. It’s about time we had a republican with a high IQ.

I wouldn't know. In all seriousness, I think I'm charisma-blind. However, in the videos that I've seen, he seems to have a delightful sense of humor. I like that.

I really like this guy, and he is young so he still has a long political future ahead of him.
