Rev. Peterson: Black Preachers Are Worshiping The Wrong Messiah!

There shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies…2 Peter 2:1

With the November 4 election of Barack Obama, black preachers have been celebrating across the country. Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, Inc. is rebuking these black preachers for their part in electing the most left-wing presidential candidate in American history:

“Ninety-six percent of black voters supported Barack Obama and the majority of these voters were influenced by black preachers to put race ahead of their country and their faith,” said Rev. Peterson. “How can ministers who are supposed to lead their flock to Jesus Christ instead lead them to a socialist like Obama? The truth is that most black ministers don’t have a real relationship with God and they are leading their congregations to hell. These blind leaders helped elect their black ‘Messiah’. This ‘Messiah’ happens to be the most left-wing member of the U.S. Senate,” said Rev. Peterson.

Here’s where president-elect Obama stands on key issues:

• Believes in abortion on demand (virtually under any circumstance), and has told Planned Parenthood that sex-ed for kindergartners is ‘the right thing to do’ (as long as it's ‘age appropriate’);
• Has promised to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act and would allow homosexual ‘marriages’ to be made legal in all 50 states;
• Would appoint far left activist judges who’d pervert and misinterpret the U.S. Constitution;
• Has pledged to dismantle ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ in the military. Supports open homosexuality, bisexuality, and transexuality in all military branches, barracks and shower facilities.

This is what influential black ministers said after the Obama election victory:

• Bishop T.D. Jakes of The Potter’s House church said that Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign “encouraged, validated and gave inspiration to not only the people of the United States of America, but to the people of our world.”
• At Harlem’s Abyssinian Baptist Church, Rev. Calvin Butts invited his congregation to stand up “and give God praise for the election.” Several hundred churchgoers rose as one and cheered, “Yes we can! Yes we can!”
• Grammy-winning gospel singer, Rev. Shirley Caesar-Williams said, “Too long we’ve been at the bottom of the totem pole, but he [Obama] has vindicated us, hallelujah.”
• Rev. John L. Lambert, Bethel AME Church in Indianapolis, “If ever there was an answer to ‘who cometh to our help?’ that was the answer…Look at what God has done.”
• At Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Rev. Otis Moss, III, said history would note that Trinity was the holy place where “God stirred a young man’s soul and put him on the path to the presidency.”

Rev. Peterson added: “For the past eighteen years I’ve said that most black preachers are not called by God, but instead are called by their mammas. If there was ever a time that this was the case, that time is now. In order for black Americans to turn around, they must drop their anger, and find the truth within themselves, not from corrupt, racist preachers or from a false black Messiah.”

I’m sorry but I have to correct you on this one. The blacks of the 1950’s did not stand around. They worked and had families and were for the most part decent family oriented people. It was when the liberal whites took the dads out the the homes and gave the women welfare, that their troubles really began.

I'll offer this for discussion. The number of black voter turn-out was not significantly higher than in previous elections, nor was the youth vote (of course, no surprise on the youth vote). I was, however, stunned with regard to the black population.

While I realize the disadvantaged (by virtue of tenuous living situations) aren't able to vote, I was still surprised, as much effort was put into seeing that even the homeless had the opportunity to register and vote (I'm not going to open the door on a discussion of ACORN), but take a look at the HONEST effort that was made to include the disenfranchised.

Obviously, the Rev. Mr. Petersen's point is well documented and taken - 95% of those who voted cast their ballot for Senator Obama, HOWEVER, many blacks sat the election out and are incensed by Senator Obama's stance on abortion — REALLY incensed.

I want President Obama to succeed (for my and my country's sake), but he by no means has received a mandate to head radically left to support FOCA, Fairness Doctrine, Marriage among Gays, Green industry at the expense of the starving. He bears watching (as I told my son when he asked if I thought the Senator is the Antichrist), but I sincerely hope for the sake his beautiful soul that he chooses wisely. I truly had my prayers answered in life. I asked to see black Americans rise to accept their role in society.

The struggle ain't over until blacks say it's over, but this is a step. Now, the President Elect must EARN his title and place in history. Affirmative Action is over for this one black man and the “rubber meets the road” in his particular situation.

For all men and women of good will, of any race, creed or color, we can agree that all of our leaders bear watching and may God continue to grant us the privilege of free speech when we disagree.

You might want to note that the statement I made was about the Black Liberation community, not about the entire black culture as a whole.

Ouch...that one is going to leave a mark! LOL! God bless you for speaking the truth, Reverend Peterson!

Ah, but the treasures of THIS world are more important to these godless, “Christians”.

Someone else's money is what REALLY TURNS THEM ON.

Matt.6:19

[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Yes, someone else's money is their treasure even at the expense of unborn little human beings or those about to be born must be killed so they can have money - someone else's’ money - not their own - coveting ... .

” . . . many born again godly men casting their lot with Obama . . . “

the “born again” part is just a religious assumption, right?

“I was so deeply disappointed seeing so many born again godly men casting their lot with Obama merely because of the color of his skin. It was a decision borne out of moral equivalency.”

I’m an ordained minister and I’m not going to say that a person is not a born-again Christian if they vote along the lines of the Democrat party platform (pro-abortion, pro-gay unions, pro-gun control), but I will say that if they do, they are against God and His commands, extremely immature in the faith, they have sided with the devil’s agenda, and are astonishingly ignorant of the what the Bible says.

Let’s just look at one example of Biblical truth as it relates to murdering innocent children through abortion as defined by the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary.

“ABORTION

The Bible places a high value on all human life, including that of the unborn. Biblical teaching declares that life is a sacred, God-given gift (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7; Deut. 30:15-19; Job 1:21; Ps. 8:5; 1 Cor. 15:26), especially the life of children (Ps. 127:3-5; Luke 18:15-16), and condemns those who take it away (Exod. 20:13; 2 Kings 1:13; Amos 1:13-14). The development of unborn life is controlled by God (Job 31:15; Ps. 139:13-16; Eccles. 11:5; Isa. 44:2; 46:3; 49:5; Jer. 1:5; Luke 1:15; Gal. 1:15). The personhood of the fetus is clearly taught in Exod. 21:22 where the unborn is called a “child” (yeled) rather than a “fetus” (nephel or golem). Hos. 9:11 implies that life begins at conception, while Luke 1:41,44 recognizes the consciousness of an unborn child.

The high value placed on unborn human life in the Bible is consistent with the Mosaic law regarding negligent miscarriage (Exod. 21:22-25). This law can be compared to similar statutes in the Code of Hammurabi (nos. 209-214) in which the punishment exacted for acts of negligence that resulted in a woman’s miscarriage was dependent on the legal or social status of the mother, not the personhood (or supposed lack thereof) of her unborn child. Middle Assyrian law no. 53 (12th century b.c.) made a self-induced miscarriage (an abortion) a capital offense.”

I could go on and on but you get my drift. There is NO WAY that a true, mature, born-again Christian who has a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ can possibly vote for the Satanic, demonic, Democrat party agenda of death, destruction, socialism, and ultimately communism. Jesus Christ never would support this, nor should his followers.

The Lord Jesus Christ would NEVER support the murder of innocent, helpless children.

I quit listening to T.D. Jakes years ago over this same issue. I’m very sorry to see he has decided that protecting unborn children is unimportant. I’m sorry for the people who go to his church and follow his lead in this area. God will bring judgment to those who voted for a higher paycheck/benefits/race over the lives of the most innocent among us.

Republican and conservative ideals are not perfect but they do match FAR BETTER with Biblical principles. They do respect the sanctity of life, believe that marriage is between one man and one woman, believe in the right of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms, and believe the U.S. Constitution is not open for compromise.

I just got through watching it. Although Rev. Peterson filled me with hope that a message like his could start resonating within the black community, all hope was quickly yanked away when the students started asking questions. They were hostile, disrespectful, hateful and had no grasp basic concepts. I fear it’s all a lost cause.

These blind leaders helped elect their black ‘Messiah’

What saddens me isthat they have so many blind followers.

"My preacher say it so it gotta be da truff!"

(And that goes for white as well as black)

Pro-aborts are not Christians.

They need to be informed of this if they believe otherwise.

I have admired Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson for quite some time.

I am white and have had a dream that I might someday get the opportunity to attend service at a southern black church..... NOT ANYMORE.

After this past years revelations of this twisted, sick and ignorant group of folks, I wouldn’t get within 5 miles of one of these ‘hate houses’. I would like to attend a service from Rev. Peterson, but I would still want to be armed.

While I will do my best to keep from joining the ranks of the racist crowd, I no longer trust the black community ( 90% of them have earned this rebuke), and I doubt that I ever will. Of course, I am disgusted with 53% of the voting public regardless of their race.
