how puzzling that he and family will not attend the funeral of the woman who raised him

bizarre actually ... sorry but dark thoughts come to mind given the timing of his hurried last visit, timing of her death, the cancer which was never announced until she died,
and the election. Did Toot refuse to agree to be permanently muzzled about his birth?

a “public tribute”- how odd is that? a mini-Wellstone funeral but without Obama? Will they ask the public attending for donations?

The question isn't whether she was “muzzled”, for whatever reason, she clearly held her tongue. What is left lingering is whether she succumbed consciously or whether she was given morphine to send her into a “deep sleep” on the eve of the election (with Barack paying his last respects).
