Today President Bush and Laura Bush went to New York City.

The President addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations. The topic was Interfaith Dialogue.

The President addressed the Manhatten Institute at Federal Hall National Memorial. The topic was the economy.
President Bush Discusses Financial Markets and World Economy

Vice President Dick Cheney (and Mrs. Cheney) welcomed his successor, vice president-elect Joseph Biden (and Mrs. Biden) to his official residence this evening.
