(CNSNews.com) – President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team is showing its hostility toward lawful firearm owners by “weeding out” job applicants who own firearms themselves, a Second Amendment group says.
The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) notes that question 59 – part of a 63-item questionnaire given to Obama administration job applicants – asks for information about firearms owned by the applicant and his or her family.
Found in the questionnaire’s “Miscellaneous” section, question 59 reads, “Do you or any members of your immediate family own a gun? If so, provide complete ownership and registration information. Has the registration ever lapsed? Please also describe how and by whom it is used and whether it has been the cause of any personal injuries or property damage.”

I just heard this on Fox. I am not surprised. Obama hates personal ownership of any firearm. For those that were stupid enough to believe him, I hope they didn’t contribute to the destruction of this country.
BTW - I have also heard that some pro-lifers that voted for Obama are finding out he is far away from who they thought he was.

I don’t think there was an abortion question asked. The same for 2nd amendment and border control. Think about it.

You are right. Only those that pay attention know anything about Obama. The rest voted for him.
The libs at work are starting to get a little nervous about Obama. He seems to be hiring too may of the same old guys from the part. I keep asking what’s changed and they start getting really defensive.
I’d be pretty sure most of Obama’s inner circle will be gun-owners. However, it’ll be because they, the elites, should bear the weapons, not the rabble, it certainly won’t be from any belief in the RKBA.

Hey, don’t forget the gun-owning coal miners of southwestern Virginia!
(Too many of them voted for the Big 0, after they were assured time & again by their union leaders and by dhimmi politicians like Jimmy Webb, Ricky Boucher & Marky Warner that 0bama was a “supporter” the 2nd Amendment.)
