The girl who introduced me to Ayn Rand in college in 1988 was the same girl who I remember crying hysterically when George H.W. Bush was elected that year. It makes me wonder how any liberal or Democrat could read Ayn Rand and what they are thinking when they read it.

It’s not that hard to understand. Rand was the ultimate hedonist. Her philosophy is all about the gratification of the self and the indulgence of the ego.

I suspect she would be 100% in agreement with Obama on the issue of abortion.

I wish Freepers would stop quoting Rand. Just because she agrees with conservatives on some issues doesn’t mean we should champion her. Islam too agree with conservatives on some issues, but you won’t see me quoting the Koran either.

Because in the end Objectivism and Islam both come from the same place. Hell.
