espite their political differences, Rosie O'Donnell wouldn't mind grabbing drinks with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
“I'd like to have a beer with her. I'd like to meet her kids. She seems like a pretty nice woman," O' Donnell told Extra. "Although I have to say, I am thrilled her party did not win. [But] you got to give it to her for spunk.”
The ultra-liberal O' Donnell admitted, "I think I probably would like her if I met her....She had an amazing life for herself and her family in Alaska. Very successful. Before you knew it, she was the most famous person in the country."

But that's not to say the Barack Obama supporter would have been celebrating a John McCain presidential win.
"If McCain won…I would be in the depression unit of the ICU," O' Donnell quipped.

O' Donnell, who has been with partner Kelli Carpenter since 1997,also spoke out about the passing of Proposition 8 -- a California initiative that overrides a previous state Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex unions.
“I was married four years and I was annulled three years ago, so for me, this fight is not new," she said. "Prop 8 is nothing new for me. This has been a long journey...and eventually the world will catch up."
O’Donnell’s primetime show, Rosie Live, airs on NBC November 26th.
Yes. And Barbara Walters and Oprah are soon to follow. Both Barbara and Oprah have asked for interviews now that the election is over.
Rosie just wants ratings for her tv show.....she’d like to go to Alaska.....put her a$$ on a dog sled and let the dogs just run....and run.....and run!

I hope Sarah tells them NO I have a state to run. If they didn’t care to speak to her during the campaign to hell with them.
Somebody should tell Rosie that Sarah is married. And sane.

Couldn’t read or hear clearly as I was laughing so hard at the Posts here.
It is a shame since O’Donnell was once a funny comedian and a good actress (League of Their Own), but once she got caught up in the gender-fights, she lost her balance.
Maybe she’d like to go hunting with Dick Cheney?
