The Rev. Jesse Jackson said Sunday he is concerned about executive orders from President Bush in his last few months in office and the effect they could have on the incoming administration.

"Bush is signing away consumer and environmental laws. I mean they're running amok, you know," Jackson said.

Some Democrats in Congress have criticized several federal regulations enacted in the waning months of the Bush administration and are discussing whether some should be repealed when President-elect Barack Obama takes office in January.

The civil rights leader and former presidential hopeful also criticized the federal bailout of the financial industry and called for the outgoing president to help the ailing automotive industry.

And I'm a little concerned about Obama's testicles after Jesse's threat.

(Not to mention the proximity of Michelle Omama.)

:)So true. It's like a bad movie on reruns.I remember being in the pro-life march as Clinton tore up everything we worked for as we marched-as in our face.We are back there but worse and it is painful as a Pro-Lifer.I also remember the Gay march and them calling for his daughter.Kinda like a scene of the Bible.Hold onto your hat Barry.

The same thinking is why people in the ghettos drive Escalades which will be repo’d in months, while living in run-down Section 8 apartments or shacks.

But you know the white press feels very strongly that black folk need a Lying-fraud-in-Chief to “lead.” I mean who would they put on Hannity and Colmes? More black folk have less use for the Reverends of whom you speak than white pressies do.

Ask somebody what either actually did for the Movement and please write down and post here any answer you get.

Depends on If Obama is re-elected in 2012 or if the Dems lose control of either chamber of congress in 2010. As long as they are in control of both chambers it will remain mainly Bush’s fault with a small part of blame for not getting their policies in place because of the Repubs in congress blocking their efforts.

Perhaps many people have seen the video on YouTube of the black woman who was enraptured after she saw Obama speak at a rally. Afterwards, she was literally breathless, saying how wonderful he was and how he was going to help her. She went on to say that: “...he's going to buy my gas. I won't have to worry about my mortgage anymore. He's going to take care of me!” Well, he's promised a lot to a lot of different groups, but what's going to happen when he doesn't show up to buy her gas or pay her mortgage? Is she bright enough to finally see the light? At what point did people stop working for themselves and turn to the gov’t to supply all their needs? When are they going to wake up and realize that politicians contribute nothing to the system? All they can do is redirect from the productive to the unproductive sectors of the system. At some point, those productive members are going to say: Screw you! and you'll have a mass exodus of the productive members of society from the system.

Well, we make the point once again. The inventors who provide the base fuel have already moved the deployment of their products overseas. For a number of years now more IPO’s based on breakthrough, innovative technology have taken place overseas than here. Now IPO’s have dried up altogether.
We are not competing with Singapore at this point in that which made this country the leader of the world. Markets do not create wealth; they can only trade wealth once it has been created. In this regard both parties have been at fault but the gang of Obama is going to be an absolute killer.

I crying laughing: but I feel sorry that a good, noble dog like The Pug has to be compared to Jesse Jackson.

But here’s what I loved most about AP’s fluff piece:

“Jackson apologized to Obama earlier this year for saying the Illinois senator appeared to be talking down to black Americans. Jackson said the comments were private and he didn’t know they were being recorded.”

Ah, Jackson’s “controversial” remarks that drew scrutiny were not about “talking down to black Americans”: it was about cutting Obambi’s family jewels if I recall correctly.
