They’re just sitting there, on Diego Garcia... 4200 mile round trip... Just a walk in the park!

Well they aren't exactly "just sitting there", but they aren't especially heavily employed either.

Next it will be our food delivery.

Any strategy that would attempt to starve America out by sea blockade, would be laughed off the world stage. We export way more food than we import. Other than out of season produce, which we get from Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America, and some luxury/specialty items (Pistachios for example) we don't import food, we export it, lots of it.

I am willing for you to be right, but if we are growing all our own food, how is it we keep getting bad food imported?

US ‘import alert’ on China food
US authorities have issued a nationwide “import alert” for
Chinese-made food products in the wake of the melamine contamination
scandal. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had already issued
an alert warning Americans not to consume Chinese products containing
milk. Thousands of Chinese have been poisoned this year.

The latest alert goes beyond dairy products to such items as drinks,
sweets, and baby and pet food. It also allows US inspectors to seize
any Chinese products suspected of being contaminated.

continued.

This is todays alert from the World Health Organization, sent out by ProMedMail.org

If you check into the ownership of the large farms that still exist in America, you will find they are not owned by American Corporations, but by foreigners and this has been so for the last 24 years, from the real estate reports, not gossip.

I was aware 40 years ago that our farm land was being bought by foreigners.

That is why to me, we do not have control of our food.

If you live in the mid west, you may still have local owned farms, but that is not true in the western states, that I know of.

My brother has been a Caterpillar mechanic for over 40 years, he tipped me off, before, locals had any idea.

Surely they can squeeze in a milk run, some time within the next week or so...

Very few. Reason: taxes fees, licenses etc, etc.

United Dockworkers...

Yes, but wouldn’t that cause global warming? I shudder to think!

But really, shouldn’t it be a piece of cake to locate and destroy? How dumb are these guys?

United Dockworkers...

That's got nothing to do with flagging vessels under foreign flags. Dockworkers deal with all flags that hit our ports.

Piracy always seemed to me like a barbarism from the distant past. Its reappearance in the 21st century doesn’t bode well for the future.
