I don't know the answer to your question, or even if it was possible to get a Hawaiian birth certificate in the '60s. Why would his mother even think to get him a Hawaiian birth certificate? I don't see where this is going to get any traction. If you can prove me wrong, great. I believe am a strict constructionist when it comes to the constitution. However, I am bracing for 4 years of Obama.
Ann's mother was a bank officer. She was well aware of the benefits associated with such a birth certificate. What she got was the next best thing, a Certificate of Live Birth. That was easy to get. Just show up and claim the baby was born in Hawaii and give the date.
I should have added: Obama’s sister was born in Indonesia. Ann got the sister a Certificate of Live Birth in Hawaii, even though she wasn’t born there.
So whatever the reason she got one for Barry was probably the reason she got one for the sister.
I suggest you get up to speed on this issue. It's perhaps the greatest threat to our constitutional form of government since the country's inception.
