BUSH’S LEGACY: EUROPEAN SOCIALISM

The results of the G-20 economic summit amount to nothing less than the seamless integration of the United States into the European economy. In one month of legislation and one diplomatic meeting, the United States has unilaterally abdicated all the gains for the concept of free markets won by the Reagan administration and surrendered, in toto, to the Western European model of socialism, stagnation and excessive government regulation. Sovereignty is out the window. Without a vote, we are suddenly members of the European Union. Given the dismal record of those nations at creating jobs and sustaining growth, merger with the Europeans is like a partnership with death.

At the G-20 meeting, Bush agreed to subject the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and our other regulatory agencies to the supervision of a global entity that would critique its regulatory standards and demand changes if it felt they were necessary. Bush agreed to create a College of Supervisors.

According to The Washington Post, it would “examine the books of major financial institutions that operate across national borders so regulators could begin to have a more complete picture of banks’ operations...

Technicalities. Our brother who joined yesterday has decided to override the Constitution.

I agree with you!! It all looks so depressing. I’m starting to see the big picture here. We are no longer a Republic of “free people.” We have allowed our government to RULE US. We haven’t made them accountable and now we either need to start a REVOLUTION and revolt or continue to take this crapp and enjoy all the benefits of being powerless...

Or....we could do what the Weatherman and Black Panthers did, game the system, take over a party, get key people in key positions and elect a President. If you believe in something as strongly as they did/do you can move mountains. It also helps to have adversaries who cannot communicate effectively.

Hand raised.

The writing was on the wall during the G-8 meetings back in late October.
It turns my stomach.

Treason and treachery across the board. The legacy of a traitor will be well deserved by every member of the federal government implicated in this sellout.

The Founders knew how to deal with such matters during revolutionary times. Justice was swift and certain.

Now, where are all of the FR "free traitors" who never missed an opportunity to pooh-pooh the SPP/NAU, the Amero and all the rest of the conspiracy to enmesh the United States in failed european socialism? Can't wait to see all of the bobbing, weaving and tap dancing these dipsticks will be doing.

Too many to count!

Agreed!! Bush has really not done a good job the last 2 - 3 yrs. He should have been explaining to Americans about what was happening. Not just that but after we got into the Iraq war and saw things were not working well, he took too long to respond and get things going in the right direction again. Then, this mortgage crisis. Bush should have been talking to the right people and CYAing for our party and place blame where it was due... Dodd and Frank being two key players for this crisis and the meltdown in the economy. Bush’s fault comes in with lack of oversight. He should have been aware and made the public aware and stepped in to stop it!!

I agree with you about “gaming the system”. It’s time to stop being soooo nice. We can be respectful and very FIRM in our convictions. We can play their game and do a better job at it. Despite the perception, America is still leaning more Conservative than liberal. I predict after this new administration comes in, there will be many more that see the error in their ways.
