Jamie Foxx is the latest celebrity to stand up and celebrate, following Barack Obamas victory in the presidential election.
It was absolutely incredible, Jamie told Access Hollywoods Shaun Robinson in an exclusive interview. Im standing around all dudes and we are breaking out in tears.
When Shaun caught up with Jamie on the set of his new music video, Just Like Me, the Oscar winner said Obamas victory has instilled a sense of responsibility in all African-Americans.
I dont know how people felt but I know how I felt, as far as being an African-American male, Foxx added. I speak now to every African-American male that I see. Now we have a responsibility, a huge responsibility to make sure we do the right thing now and to cut out all the madness and silliness. Now we dont have an excuse.
We cant say its the mans fault when you are the man, Foxx continued.

Barf barf barf.
Yeah, like receiving welfare checks through collectivism and redistribution of wealth breeds responsibility.
With responsibility (apparently) comes reparations.
We just want our fair share of your stuff, motherf@#ker.
LLS
Yeah, it is the lack of a Asian president that has been keeping so many Asian men down.
I would like to believe Obama has it in him to be a good influence — but the two videos of him giving the finger while he was talking about Hillary and John McCain — make me think he, himself, does not have very high standards.
Like I said: only time will tell.
That’s exactly what I hope many turn from.
This is a great piz-oint!
The only thing is...Obama is going to insist on lots and lots of social programs because, “you can’t make it in America! Not only are you way behind, but the system is set up for you to fail.”
The only problem with all that is...he seemed to have made it just fine despite the system being set up for a brah to fail.
The system is set up to screw you, but Obama seemed to do alright, didn’t he?
Look at it this way . . .
There are many black people who are every bit a pissed at the state of affairs on the RAT plantation as you are. Now that BO has the helm, those folks are going to have a lot more ammo when they point out to others that they have no excuses anymore. Some will be swayed and that’s something.
Doing nothing, complaining and wringing hands is certain to do nothing.
No, 1866 was the time for all good brothers to take responsibility for their children and their lives.
LOL!
OK, love that pic, but who are those peeps and why are they angry?
It’s not his leadership that I hope will offer change. It’s the fact that the shysters, race-baiters and shiftless bums will no longer have an excuse to blame the man. Perhaps this revelation will wake up enough field hands from the RAT plantation that a 21st century underground railroad can begin bringing them home to America and freedom.
And exactly what's the incentive here for that? Obama has said to Joe the plumber that he favors a bottom up economy. What does that mean? It means open up your wallet, you're about to get fleeced.
It would be one positive if it actually worked out this way, if the race-hustlers and poverty pimps got put out of business.
Nah.
“I speak now to every African-American male that I see. Now we have a responsibility, a huge responsibility to make sure we do the right thing now and to cut out all the madness and silliness. Now we dont have an excuse.

Can’t argue with that.
However what happens when it is October 2012, and things haven’t changed? I truly hope that is not the case. We are stuck with Obama for 4 years; lets hope for our nation’s sake, that something good can come from it.
Nothing happens overnight. I’m not saying BO is going to do anything positive - what I’m saying is that something positive might come from a BO Presidency. When you call the shots and you still lose the game, you’ve got nobody to blame but yourself. For many, this may be the start of a revelation that couldn’t come otherwise.
This is the final chapter in America’s downfall into socialism due to secular progressivism. To think that it may be a good thing IMO, is pretty naive.
The ‘responsibility’ was ALWAYS there. Why do they need another PERSON to make them realize that?
