Does anyone know how often they conferance on cases before them? Is this a rare occurence?
Unless I’m just not following closely enough, isn’t this an interesting twist, that neither Obama nor McCain were/are eligible under the Constitution? I was not aware that the Donofrio case made any such allegation. Did the resolution expanding the definition of “natural born citizen,” widely touted as a very gracious move by Obama toward his rival, fail? I thought it did, but I didn’t appreciate the wider implication.
Not many scenarios could invalidate the entire election, but this one might.

It’s possible that the SCOTUS could apply a strict interpretation of Constitutional law and invalidate both Obama (if born overseas) and McCain as presidential candidates.
Leo was not very charitable for the GOP or DNC. He said both parties knew. Based on Leo’s interpretation - McCain oddly is not eligble either. What is weird is teh RINOs and Democrats crossing over (according to Rush) gave us McCain. McCain being chummy now with O is creepy too. Some people felt O and Mccain were both backs by maybe...Soros or someone else.
Actually, I believe there’s a third candidate (I forgot which party), who’s citizenship is also questionable. Can’t remember the guys name.
They have an additional problem with the rogue clerk.
Let’s assume for the moment that he didn’t follow correct procedure as claimed by Leo.
Had he done so, Leo could have gotten this in front of Thomas BEFORE the election.
So do they circle the wagons to protect the clerk?
This is a mess. That clerk should be fired if he went off the reservation. That isn’t really what you would call it...just thinking of the term they use in the CIA movies.
Not yet.... I don’t see how anyone can dismiss the case by Alan Keyes for lacking of standing.. So there is one more up that has a chance.

It appeared Ms. Obama’s relatives and her grandson, handling the translating,, had obviously been versed to counter such facts with the purported information from the American news media that Obama was born in Hawaii.
Despite this, Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama was very adamant that her grandson, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, was born in Kenya, and that she was present.
I know. I’ve been following this issue for most of the year.
I’d feel a lot better if Keyes like Leo jumped up a few step and got it immediatly before the SCOTUS. Is there any way that the cases can be combined like in a class action case?
I work in an office which files the court cases (here in Pa, it’s called the Prothonotary & Clerk of Courts offices). I don’t work in the filing side of the office - I’m in records imaging. However, in asking our Prothonotary today, she was shocked that a mere clerk was taking it upon himself to decide IF and HOW something should be filed and placed on the docket! Under NO circumstances does a clerk make such decisions! We are simply the filing office.
Wow! I can’t get over the nerve of that clerk!!
Yes...both Obama and McCain have accepted donations from Soros. McCain in particular accepted large amounts for his Reform Institute. See:

The CLerk put personal convenience before the Constitution.....Do the swear an oath to unhold it like the Justices? If So, IMO legal action should be taken.
According to Donafrio Our Constitution clearly states that in order to be President the person must be a “natural born citizen” of the United States. In summary you need parents who are U.S. Citizens at the time of your birth and you must be born on U.S. soil to be a “natural born” U.S. citizen.
John McCain was born in the country of Panama to parents who were both U.S. citizens which makes John McCain a U.S. citizen but does NOT make him a “natural born citizen” because he was not born on U.S. soil.
Barack Obama’s birth place is still being questioned because he has not made his original birth certificate public. Some believe he was born in Kenya, but Obama has said that he was born in Hawaii. However his father was Kenyan and at the time of Obama’s birth Kenya was under British rule. Obama has even stated on his web site that he was a British citizen at birth. That being the case, he is NOT a “natural born citizen” of the United States because his father was from Kenya and a British subject.
Camaroso, something like that. Socialist, born in Nicaragua. Thrown out by several states. May be a handy precedent.
