Great news. Perhaps the letters some of us had sent to the WH had some positive effect. Obvious to us all these two guys should be given a full pardon.

To me, commutation is not enough. They should be pardoned and they should receive an apology. It is because of them that I have rejected the invitation, offered by several, to rejoin the reserves in my Sheriff's office.
I had to pay my own medical expenses arising from duty related injuries. If doing my duty could lead to disgrace and jail time, I will not serve as an LEO for the US.
They may not have been perfect in the execution of their responsibilities. Perfection is too high a standard for deadly force encounters with drug runners. This conviction is a disgrace and an insult to every person who puts his butt on the line for this country.

A good friend of mine who is very wealth and has a husband in the oil business attends a gathering of about 30 people in Texas every year put on by Bush (seniors). She is very much on our side and I asked her if she would be so bold and tell George Bush (Senior) “ MANY people are praying that your son will pardon agents ramos and Compeon”
