That website has all the things he refused to say during the campaign because he’d lose the election.
Like requiring every single PRIVATE employer to give 7 paid sick days a year to every employee.
Government has no business interfering in the private contracts between employee and employer. But now, if you are a person who doesn’t get sick, you will be forced to take lower wages to provide sick days to your fellow workers who either get sick all the time, or aren’t ethical so will take their paid sick days whether they are sick or not.
So about that website...Are we(the taxpayers) funding it?
Sick = hungover, or still on that bender.
Hi, CW. This is something totally irrelevant to the thread, but I am checking my own indicators of a recession.
Are you planning to put up all your Christmas lights this year? I remember the Carter years, when our neighborhoods in the Harrisburg suburbs “went dark” for Christmas because of the bad economy. People didn’t want to spend money on “frills” or excessive energy use.
For the first time in memory, our Governor, Milton Shapp, decreed that the Christmas tree on the Capitol grounds would not be lighted.
If this happens all over this year, I’ll know FOR SURE that we’re in a depression.
