I recall being on this one flight in which this very large woman bought a coach class ticket and her seat was too small. She then demanded to be put into first class.

It was obvious that she had done this before.

What these people are demanding is that those who control their weight subsidize the transportation of those who do not.

Not only should their be no consequences for poor lifestyle choices,

they should be rewarded for them.

This is quintessential liberalism in action.

I have flown frequently and have witnessed the same statement by significantly overweight people more than once. One obese lady was somewhat obnoxious to the flight attendant. The flight attendant invited the person sitting next to her to move to first class!
