Neither were Professors, as in tenured Professors, but that's no reason not to say they were.

I doubt either stays at Holiday Inn Express, but Joe takes the train to work and Barry smokes, so they are regular guys, for Professors.

I'm sure Tammy has had a job outside of government too. In fact, maybe she could be a law Professor, it's the fast track to the White House, and we've never had a gay or a female President.

When John Nichols, Tammy Baldwin, and Jerry Nadler join together in a socialist circle-jerk it is not worthy of publication — this is just what leftists do together behind closed doors, but they don’t have enough discretion to keep their silly fantasies to themselves.

But Obama and Biden have one thing in common: They've both done stints as constitutional law professors.

To begin with, I didn't reference the names of the schools Obama and Biden have been law professors at to save the schools some embarrassment. But I will also note that neither the editors at Capital Times or John Nichols evidently know the Constitution.

Next, stand back everybody! Regardless that only justices are trusted to possess the wisdom necessary to interpret the Constitution, here's Thomas Jefferson's "secret formulas" for interpreting the Constitution.

"Laws are made for men of ordinary understanding and should, therefore, be construed by the ordinary rules of common sense. Their meaning is not to be sought for in metaphysical subtleties which may make anything mean everything or nothing at pleasure." --Thomas Jefferson to William Johnson, 1823. ME 15:450

"Common sense [is] the foundation of all authorities, of the laws themselves, and of their construction." --Thomas Jefferson: Batture at New Orleans, 1812. ME 18:92

"Common sense is not so common." --Voltaire, French author, humanist, rationalist, & satirist (1694 - 1778) =:^O

The truth of the matter is that, given their liberal voting records concerning federal government spending and social issues, Obama and Biden, along with many other DC lawmakers, are as constitutionally clueless as they come. No apples for these so-called professors.

More specifically, constitutionally ignorant DC lawmakers, particularly the Democrats, have been in contempt of the following constitutional statutes since the time that constitutional flunky FDR established his constitutionally unauthorized New Deal federal spending programs.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 18: To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution (emphasis added) in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

The bottom line is that we are unthinkingly sending people to DC, people like Obama and Biden, who then backstab the voters by regulating social issues and spend taxpayer dollars based on constitutionally nonexistent federal government powers. In fact, I'm glad that Obama is president-elect. This is because the people will ultimately be forced to reconnect with the Constitution and its history in order to protect themselves from Socialist Obama's misguided pen.

The two will make a dangerous combination. Both know Constitutional law and will use that knowledge to subvert it. They will know that little changes in law will make huge consequences. Also, expect a huge political assault when the next Supreme Court Justice replacement occurs. All will be posed in the spirit of “Delaware bipartisanship.”

They've both done stints as constitutional law professors.

And yet neither of them have any clue about the Constitution and what it really means.

"After eight years of trashing the Constitution, we have an administration that actually respects the document."

Okay, where the HE [double toothpicks] is the BARF alert?

Obama and Biden bode well for Constitution...except of course for the comments Obama made about the Constitution being an "imperfect" document and not allowing the government to do enough for its people - or against them under the right circumstances - and his association with Mr. Ayers who insisted on more than one occasion that if it felt to him that a law "didn't fit", he would simple ignore the law - yep aside from those inconvenienves I'm sure Obama will be very respectful and observant of the Constitution.......

“So maybe when a new president and vice president swear oaths to defend the Constitution, they might actually mean it?”

Is the writer suggesting that Obama and Biden will try to get “Roe vs. Wade”, “Kelo”, and “Boumadienne” reversed ?

The last “professor” of Constitutional Law we had in the White House did not know what “is” is. You expect either of these clowns to be any different?

After they collapse the goobermint, perhaps the remnant of survivors will create a new Government that actually abides by the Constitution. That is the only way Dumb and Dumber are going to help the Constitution.
