It almost looks to me like the President doesn't want to shake their hands and CNN is using this... but then I'm probably biased. And I'm sure CNN would never mislead /s

Wasn’t it already reported that Bush had ALREADY shaken their hands earlier and that CNN in their stupidity didn’t know that?

Pres Bush walked right by them, never extending his hand to them. Of course the biased media would spin it differently.

Correct...he had already shook hands, hugged, talked, whatever with EACH ONE before the meeting. CNN is trash.

That's the version I read on another thread.

A Second point is that it takes imagination to call CNN news anymore.

Looks to me like it was the other way around and that he really did not want to be there.

Absolute lies. Do you really believe that world leaders came to our country upon an invitation by President Bush and did not shake his hand? Oh please.

Hm, I wonder what the protocol is in a situation like that — do you reshake hands for the cameras, or do you keep it real, not reshake, and then have CNN morons crow about it?

What a lame and wretched story from CNN. They need to go back to their Obama worship and drink that last drop of Kool-Aid.

To heck w/the stuck up wimps, I wouldn’t want to shake their hands either. Good for the prez! However, I do wish he hadn’t agreed to the G-20’s idea of taking over the SEC.

What value does that segment bring to the air? I mean, other than getting their last swipes in on President Bush - there’s absolutely no value to that segment and, CNN, for that matter.

World leaders at G20 fail to shake President Bush's hand

Is there a single thinking person extant, including President Bush, who cares, or who would alter a philosophy to insure otherwise?

I wonder how they’ll spin it when several world leaders fail to shake O’s hand?

‘...Bush had ALREADY shaken their hands earlier...’

my first thought....Pres Bush previously met and welcomed these leaders whereas it was the first time the ‘leaders’ were meeting each other. Of course, CNN would not think of this since, like most of the media, they enjoy attempting to place our good President in a bad light.

Lula Da Silva looks more like a Game Show host than a President (although for a leftist/populist, he isn’t too bad).
