my concern is that she seems to be a bit naive about the actual issues. She needs to spend more time reading reason.org, National Review and FR...not playing with photo ops.

Another thing, how does MSNBC know Palin is “oblivious” to what is happening behind her? That chiron is a joke. Maybe she didn’t care or think people would get their panties in a wad about it.

You’re right. There is no way she should could have known that the press would take an opportunity like an interview at a slaughterhouse to embarrass her.

I’m sorry.

She can do no wrong and never make any mistakes. Never.

Is that better?

This is a one-day non-story, if that. The left-wing fever swamps will froth at the mouth about this for a week, but that’s about it. Does anyone honestly think this is a serious story?

She def. is not oblivious - otherwise she would not have acknowledged “I’ll prob. get made fun of for this...” she said something like that so she made mention of the fact that the media would prob. use this against her - they are idiots! I personally like the fact that she is who she is and doesn’t give a $hit was anyone thinks!

Maybe she knew and didn’t care or see a problem? Maybe she didn’t care if a bunch of elitist MSM newscasters at MSNBC would get squirmish? Do you honestly think this is a legit news story with legs?

Please educate me. Because I fail to see how not showing unquestioned loyalty and devotion to a politician, and having the nerve to actually criticize her for a PR blunder means that I have “some serious issues”.

“you have some serious issues that can’t be resolved here on FR”

hahaha, too true. I don’t know how anyone could think this will have any bearing on her political career at all. Do they honestly think Huckabee is downloading this to his computer to save for the Primaries.

It doesn’t matter what I think. When the next election comes I will vote for the most conservative person that has an actual chance of winning. What does matter is what “independents”, and everyone else who is too dumb to know what their principles are, think, and these are the kinds of people who DO think that this kind of thing is a big deal. A politician with their sights set on the White House should know this and plan accordingly.

I think it’s funny. Not funny against Gov Palin. But funny no matter who it was.

And the jokes on the libs who complain about it. Like they don’t know where their Thanksgiving dinner is going to come from? LOL!

But seriously sad that libs do have the stomach to look the other way on abortion.

PR blunder? She probably knew exactly what she was doing. She’s the governor of Alaska and is playing to her constituents. Her comment about being “criticized” was definitely directed at the “liberal elite media” and the “liberal regular media.” :)

Name calling and insults are what some people resort to when they have no other response to an argument.

And for what it’s worth, pointing out a PR mistake made by a politician does not mean that one doesn’t like that politician.

I’m a huge SP fan (took the family to see her in Carson, CA), but between this and the phony phone call, it is apparent that she needs to develop a spidey-sense about when someone is trying to punk her.

She’ll be fine in the long run (’16) but before the sheeple will come to their senses about her, she needs a solid accomplishment like building the pipeline.
