Besides, much as it pains me to say it, she's not the worst choice by far. Could you imagine Kerry or Pelosi as SOS?

Strategically bad move for her. Anyone remember William Rogers--Nixon's first SOS? Completely overshadowed by Henry Kissinger, who was Nixon's first NSC director. Do we know who's Obama's pick for NSC director? The DOS/NSC rivalry in the Obama Administration might be interesting.
