I didn't think I could like Sarah Palin more than I do, but the nancy boys at MSNBC bleating all over the screen about the Great Turkey Carnage is hilarious. This is a great caption:
TURKEYS DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM MEDIA
Or was it: MEDIA DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM TURKEYS.
After she's sworn in in 2013, I hope President Palin arranges for a ritual turkey slaughter to be going on behind her at every press conference, if only during David Shuster's questions.
Where do these idiots think the Big Bird comes from...and why is it barbaric to kill them? Even the obamasiah eats meat...
Very well put. I never watch MSNBC but did hear about this today. My only question would be, "Don't these idiots have anything better to do?"
For the first time I totally disagree with Steyn.
Let this story die, because it’s no story, and don’t comment on it.
To protest is to give it life.......
Sarah just got a lesson to look behind her first before the camera rolls.
Reporters and their producers always scout for good camera positions and backgrounds when doing interviews. They set her up for this once again to make her look bad.
Meanwhile, on November 27th, Americans will sit down to their nice roasted turkey that the grocery store lady plucked from the vines out on the garden. All featherless and cleaned up so nice. And hey, they even grow a little paper sack with all the organs for a nice gravy too! Yes, they grow pretty that way.
Hey, I wonder what they do with those turkeys that used to be alive though? I hope they are having a nice time playing with their friends on the farm.
It doesn’t require much creativity to intertain the 1.4 million idiots who regularly watch MSNBC.
Could this BE less of a story???
I’ve decided my favorite thing about Sarah Palin is that the MSM’s reaction to her is remarkably similar to a vampire’s reaction to sunlight. Well, that and she’s quite easy on the eyes. And an honest, unabashed conservative.
And the same people who cry for turkeys say nothing of the million-plus unborn children they so eagerly murder every year. Sounds like someone has their priorities just a bit out of whack.
I respectfully disagree. You're right to be disgusted at the fuss. But if we have to keep our mouths shut every time the libmedia make asses of themselves, keeping our mouths shut is all we'll ever do.
It's much better to point at them and laugh. Healthier, anyway.
Good lord, what a silly thing for the MSM to manufacture into a ‘controversy.’
Animals die in order to become food. Doesn’t matter if it’s a turkey (mmm...drumsticks!), a pig (mmmm...bacon!), or a steer (mmm...T-bones, Ribeyes, skirt steak, flank steak, pot roast, hamburgers...).
Sarah’s got nothing to apologize for or be embarrassed about, IMHO. The hypocritical weenies who can’t face the facts of where T-day dinner comes from are the only ones with the problem here.
Great post, cry over thanksgiving dinner, with a family table full of empty seats you do not mourn.
Blessings to you in Jerusalem from Washington state.
If God didn’t want us to eat animals, he wouldn’t have made them out of meat!
Next time someone gives you the PETA schpiel, tell them that you are just doing your duty as an American to protect the environment.
When they look at you funny, explain to them that animal farts produce methane which causes global warming and if they have a problem with it to take it up with the Sierra club.
I was very happy to see the david sch-Douche-ster ‘hit-piece’.
I’m not to sure it was a mistake.
Foreshadowing the future of the policies of O?!?
Gobble, gobble, WHACK!!
