Good job mailman Steve. I wish I had this guy deliver my mail. By all the comments I've read so far on this story, they neglect to mention NO ONE on this mailman's route complained to the Post Office about missing ‘important’ mail. The authorities said they found nothing but junk mail in his garage. Maybe the upper management loves junk mail companies because fewer people are using the US Mail. Many people pay their bills on line and if I need anything important delivered, I employ either UPS or FedEx. I have NEVER had a package turn up missing using them but always had a problem with the US Postal Service.
Again, great job Mailman Steve.

Again, great job Mailman Steve My clients pay me because they have services they provide people and I say I will get them a 1-2% response rate with direct mail. My clients make their living and I make my living on having my legal mail delivered. You can throw it out if you want, but the f***ing mailman better deliver it. It's his job. It's the law. It's my livelihood.
You don't want my mail delivered to your house. Get the law changed, jerk.

By all the comments I've read so far on this story, they neglect to mention NO ONE on this mailman's route complained to the Post Office about missing important mail.I worked for a gas marketer in Ohio and was in charge of mailing about one million annual renewal contracts for our deregulated gas customers. Since the renewal contracts were not bills, they were not required to be pre-sort first class, but could be standard pre-sort. The enclosures stated what the next contract price was and included instructions on requesting a change or canceling.
You might want to reassess what is junk. Sounds like this fellow was doing the thinking for his 'customers'.

Good job mailman Steve. When "conservatives" start celebrating government slackers refusing to do the job they were paid to do, we are in for trouble. This guy had a choice if he did not want to deliver "junk mail", get another job.
