America's ignorance of Obama 'disturbing' (Merely disturbing?)

A pro-family activist and former presidential candidate says a recent editorial in a leading business publication illustrates just how little the American voting public knows about president-elect Barack Obama.

Two months before the presidential election, Investors Business Daily (IBD) published an editorial entitled "Michelle's Boot Camps for Radicals." It revealed that Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of a publicly funded non-profit organization known as Public Allies, but he resigned when his wife Michelle became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993.

The IBD editorial said the organization's mission is to radicalize American youth and use them to bring about "social change" through threats, pressure, tension, and confrontation. On its website, Public Allies said the IBD piece painted an inaccurate, distorted view of their work. But the editorial points out that during the presidential campaign, Obama said, "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military.

Gary Bauer, chairman of American Values, does not believe American voters did enough research on Obama before the election. "One of the things he has talked about is this universal voluntary public service corps. But there are some disturbing signs that this might be another one of these left-wing ideas that have motives behind it that are not entirely reassuring," he contends.

Unfortunately, according to Bauer, the American media did not press Obama to answer questions about some of these questionable ideas and affiliations. "The result is that I think we had one of the most undereducated electorates in the history of our country partake in this election, not knowing the first thing about what the man who's now been elected president has on his agenda," he concludes.

The retraining camps and gulags will be the next step.

After listening to some of the Obama idiot voters, they need more help than just this. Looks to me that most of them do not have fully functional brains.

Maybe an IQ test for voting? Something tough, like spell ‘dog’

A certificate of “net tax liability” would do the trick,

or proof of property ownership.

Bauer...does not believe American voters did enough research on Obama before the election.

WHAT??? The American voters??? How about the complete MSM blackout of anything negative about Chairman Obama? How about the NYTimes false coverage of a McCain affair, and Cindy's past addictions juxtaposed to glowing accounts of Obama?

What is Mr. Bauer talking about? Now we get those who blame the American voter for the hack job and the complete cover up and lies perpetrated by the MSM.

A detroit radio station called the Kenyan embassy after the election of Obama. After a lot of trouble they get through to the ambassador of Kenya.

The ambassador of Kenya says that obama was born in Kenya and that his birth place has become a national shrine.

Listen to the recording here

The quote is around 12:35, so if you don’t have time to listen to the whole thing, you can jump ahead.
The transcript reads:

Radio Jockey: President elect Obama's birth place over in Kenya -- is that going to be a national spot where he was born

Ambassador Peter Ogego: its already an attraction. his paternal grandmother is still alive

Radio Jockey:But his birth place...they'll put up a marker there

Ambassdor Peter Ogego: It would depend on the government. Its already well known.

Here is an abridged Utube version of the the radio interview. So you can hear just the relevant parts.

It can be reasonably pointed out that the DJ was trying to entrap the Ambassador and that the Ambassador fell into his trap.
However, if you listen to the long version of the radio interview --you’ll notice he used the same strategy on two different occasions and the ambassador gently brushed him off.

First, he tried to force the ambassador to sing the Kenyan national anthem. The ambassador referred him to the kenyan website.

Second he tried to push the ambassador into saying something about maybe Kenya becoming the 51st state. Again the ambassador said that Kenya was a sovereign country. ie No.

He used the same technique on the question of Obama’s birth place. This time the ambassador said yes.

Because the ambassador answered no in the two previous examples -- you can't say that the ambassdor was either a fool or ill advised.

Finally, you might ask well doesn't he know that saying Obama is born in Kenya would make trouble for Obama? The answer there is why should he be concerned? He has heard no suggestion in the mainstream media that there might be a problem there. So to say what is already well known--as he says--would be no problem.

Here is a utube video of Ambassador Peter Ogego speaking at a conference. Ambassador of Kenya H.E. Peter Ogego To verify that the voice on the radio is Ambassador Ogego-- compare the radio voice with the DJ to the voice on the Utube that goes with Ambassador Ogego. Ambassador Peter Ogego is introduced a bit after minute 18..

They are the same.

Be sure to download the recording as well. The chances of it remaining online for long are remote.

The Arnold would have run for president long ago and likely won if he were a "natural born" american. He's not. He's naturalized. So he can't run. And he knows it. (though there were some trial balloons sent up a couple years back about changing the law--that went nowhere.)

Like the Arnold, Obama looks to be a naturalized citizen--but maybe he's not even that.

In any case the supreme court--at Justice Thomas instigation-- is taking up the issue Dec 5... alas the matter may be thrown out on technicalities

Now we are talking folks!!

Criteria for voting...I have always argued there should be some minimum criteria. Land Ownership, IQ, Tax Payer what others?

In this day and age of bullcrap, impossible, but I’d love to see it.

The Quality of Our Leaders directly related to the Quality of the Voter....?

What were the requirements during the Founders times?, can you name a few for fun??

(white) male, landowner.

Now, we could go back to simply “landowner” and be just fine.

Owning real property would be a proxy for most of the other criteria that you would propose. IQ, “have something at stake”, pays taxes, informed, etc.

Or say something like "job". That would disqualify the VP-elect from voting.

“And his civilian force will be the only people allowed to own guns. Wait for it.”

I wonder when everyone will realize his “civilian force” is his idea of the “militia” mentioned in the second amendment. The presence of which would seem to eliminate the necessity or assumed right by everyone else to keep and bear arms.

If that is the case, I think the Obamination grossly underestimates the will of the American people in regards to ownership of guns. The bumper sticker “My gun will be pried from my cold dead hands comes to mind”
