"My best guess is that those who support her have a very different concept of the presidency than I do. I see the president as someone who actually has to run the country, so I value traits such as competence and knowledge." Yet this Bozo probably voted for Barack Obama, the least qualified major party presidential candidate in our nation's history!

I'd prefer that Jeb not run as a Senator. He is an executive.
I wouldn't mind him as a Cabinet head. But, like I said, anything can happen if 4 years. I know Bush's reputation is going to improve and then I personally will not shut the door on anything happening.
To: unspun
Yeah, talk about competence and knowledge... he is part of the media making the lies, then believes them himself. What does that say about Mr. Bookman’s own knowledge and competence?

I see the president as someone who actually has to run the country, so I value traits such as competence and knowledge. The highest thing I value is compatibility of vision.
I would rather have somebody doing a mediocre job of moving the country in the direction I want (less government, less taxes), than somebody doing an expert job in moving it in the direction I DON'T want(socialism).

Without Palin I think we know how the post election period would go, the same old washed up rep. dinosaurs would be shoving each other for the 2012 inheritance while at the same time maintaining the status quo.
I see Palin as an icebreaker, throwing a little conservative chaos into the mix and freeing up the process, we don’t know where conservatism will be in three years, but Palin is making it easier for all conservative politicians like Jindal and others, by serving as a cracking wedge into that Pawlenty,Crist,Romney,Huckabee type mush that is kept from regaining prominence as long as we conservatives have someone and something to shove forward.
Weeks after the election, we conservatives can put a face and a name to our defense against the Romney/Huckabee types, I think that all of this is very helpful.

"I see the president as someone who actually has to run the country, so I value traits such as competence and knowledge. "
I'm glad I wasn't drinking coffee when I read this tripe.
The current president-elect, awash in experience ranging from community organizer and motivational speaker, to the top "present" voter in his 147 day U.S. Senate career, couldn't pour dog$h!+ out a boot with the direction written on the heel.
Obama - who dealt the race card from the bottom of the deck all through the campaign - was elected for one reason only...race. That HAS to be it...there are no other qualifications he has for it.
Other than an campaign, he's never run anything...and he had a "campaign manager" to do the heavy lifting on that, leaving only the struttin' and jivin' to do for himself.
If I had someone on my staff who made the statement that obama was qualified, and Palin wasn't...I would make sure that person NEVER got promoted to a position where s/he would have to make positions on who to hire/fire or promote in my business. Obviously that person's people skills are AWOL.

From the article: **Those three received the highest scores among the 10 possible candidates evaluated in a recent Gallup Panel survey.***
Are we back to believing these surveys? Did they follow their standard operating procedure & poll more Dems than Pubbies?

Palin is not presidential material for the time being. But, in 2012 she could easily be if she so desires to run.

We need a Conservative capital C to lead four years hence. Palin may well serve to deflect attacks. Four years is a lifetime in politics, it may be nobody will even remember her name then.

The “correct” term is “marxist selected by fraudulent acorn votes that were stolen from the American People”.
