QUOTE OF THE DAY:

President Bush on Monday said, to Prime Minister Olmert, "We've been through a lot together during our time in office. We strongly believe that Israel will benefit by having a Palestinian state, a democracy on her border that works for peace. And, Prime Minister, that vision is alive because of you. And I thank you for your steadfast support for peace."

It must be warmer in DC than it is in Ashford to only be in a suit and no overcoat.

I’m sure the only reason Krugman showed up was so that he can spend the rest of his sorry life making snarky remarks about the day he met the most eviiiilll POTUS in history.

Nobel or not, Krugman is a vile, low-class, far-left clown.

He announced that a decision was made to safeguard Citi

This is really getting out of hand, isn't it? Let's just open the Treasury and last one out, shut off the expensive white squiggly things imported from China.

President George W. Bush and Secretary Henry Paulson of the U.S. Department of Treasury, pause for questions after their meeting Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at the Treasury Department. Said the President, "Secretary Paulson is working closely with the President-elect's transition team. It's important for the American people to know that there is close cooperation. It's important for the American people to know that we will safeguard the financial system as the first step necessary for financial -- or for economic recovery. And so, Mr. Secretary, thanks for your hard work." White House photo by Eric Draper
