You've obviously never been to Massachusetts or Chicago!
Cook County (IL) politics is a cottage business for the Stroger extended family.

He has a proven record of putting the interests of Delaware first. He shares Delawares values. His political views are close to Sen. Bidens, and he doesnt need any on-the-job training. Hell be an effective senator for Delaware from day one. Isn't part of Beau's record a well-orchestrated move to have Larry Sinclair arrested in DC following a news conference, extradition to Delaware on bogus charges, use of contrived evidence, incarceration with alleged denial of prescription medication, and sudden release from jail timed for Barry's announcement of Poppa-Slow-Joe as Veep candidate?
I'm sure this was a demonstration of "Delaware's values".

Nice to know some democrats believe in “nobility” when it comes to a senate seat... would be nice if they apply that standard to estate taxes... nixing them all together (but that would be installing a de facto noble class... isn’t that your thinking democrats?).

I think it's awful that you can run for Vice President or President and simultaneously run for Senate.
1988: Lloyd Bentsen wins his Senate seat, but loses the VP election, and fails to carry Texas for the Democratic ticket.
Now Biden won both Senate and VP slots.
Seriously, if you are going to run for VP or Pres, you shouldn't be able to simultaneously run for Senate or the House or Governor or anything else.

It reminds me of the Old Testament. The people were adamant that they wanted a King.
