WHEN YOU'RE HOT
Just when we thought her star power was fading, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is getting another boost, via Sarah Palin Radio.
The program, which launched Monday ("Sarah Palin Appreciation Day," coincidentally, as declared by the National Federation of Republican Women), is aired over the WS Radio network, the California-based world leader in Internet talk radio.
"This initiative is a medium for Governor Palin and her supporters across the country," explains LaDonna Hale Curzon, executive producer of the program. "The governor will have a very dedicated, built-in audience anytime she wishes to come on the air."
She notes that when Ronald Reagan lost his presidential bid to Gerald R. Ford in 1976, "he didn't ride into the sunset. He kept his name alive with a weekly radio show. I think Sarah Palin is the female equivalent of Ronald Reagan, so why not follow his footsteps?"
The hour-long show is broadcast live every week and can be heard by downloading from the Web site www.SarahPalinRadio.com.

“Just when we thought her star power was fading, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is getting another boost, via Sarah Palin Radio.”
I think they meant “Just when we WERE HOPING her star power was fading...”
Governor Palin could do worse than emulate some aspects of Reagan’s methods, without losing her own unique individuality.

Having said that, I am no listening to the show. It sounds good so far. I'm signed up to listen to it.
But, I was enthused today to hear that she's going to campaign in Ga.--- no reason to travel to Ga. and take the heat that she'll get in Alaska for leaving the state, unless she has her eyes on the prize. -:)
Good point. But I was never in doubt that she would do this if asked. She cares about this country and doesn't want to Dems to have a filibuster proof Senate.
I hope that all of this grassroots organizing can be put to excellent use. This is basically how Obama got started. He gave a stellar speech for the DNC in 2004, and he was a grassroots star from then on.
