Bottled water is the target of environmental activists and others who claim that it is wasteful. Environmental activists claim that bottled water creates too much needless waste for landfills, uses too much energy to transport, and contributes to global warming. For further information on this issue .....
Enjoy Bottled Water.Org In a weather-related or other emergency, an easily accessible supply of bottled water is essential. Bottled water meets the needs of some of our most vulnerable individuals, those with compromised health. In fact, bottled water is often recommended for people whose immunity may be compromised by chemotherapy, transplant operations, or diseases .
Protect the right to drink bottled water. Please take a moment and sign the petition. Thank You! Petition link

I enjoy bottled water but that’s not really the point is it?
The issue, as usual, is the left’s now-standard combination of self-regard, false efficacy and strange compulsion towards totalitarianism in enacting total bans on anything that becomes their target du jour with wildly disproportionate effort and/or penalties applied to those who become heretics and criminals overnight.
Anyone left on campus with a sane thought in their head should bring a nice bottle of water to class/office every day just to watch cowardly liberals quiver with impotent anger.

The delicious irony is that the libs are the very ones who encouraged drinking bottled water in the first place. It’s soooooooooooooo ‘in vogue’.

Tough call here. Whom to root for - the people driven to hysterics by the poisons they know are in their tap water, or the lunatics worried about the “sustainability” of bottled water?

their target du jour
Exactly. There is no end in sight to their efforts. Years ago, I never thought these activists would gain so much power to actually accomplish bans. Scary.

It is ironic. And now they want to tax bottled water. Just another way for liberals to tax us.

Hi Mama_Bear
Another way to control and/or tax us. It's mind boggling.
I hope all is well with you and your family. It's been busy here lately but I'm doing fine. Thanks!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :)

They better not mess with this Texan's bottled diet Coke ;)
It really is unbelievable that they are making some progress with this issue to ban bottled water. If you get a chance, some time, look at the entire site. There's a lot of info on the site. It's scary what they are attempting to do.
