When Haley Barbour, Bobby Jindal, Sarah Palin, etc. (all good conservatives) speak of leaving the GOP, I'll consider the possibility that another party might get somewhere when election time comes around.
For now, many good conservatives remain in the GOP.

And BTW, no party has outstripped the Libertarians of third party status to my knowledge, until now. If any did, it was the Constitution Party... And no one did it in sheer registrations in one season, surely.
I, for one, will not be back, and will oppose the Republicans mightily- Unless they return to Reagan, fully and completely. Since there is an alternative House where Reagan is welcome with open arms, that demand is with the force of an ultimatum. There is no longer a need for me to compromise and support a lesser candidate. There will always be a Reaganite to vote for.
