“Can someone tell me why McCain’s ‘natural born’ citizenship status is being questioned? What is the basis of that argument?”

It was a feeble ‘gotcha’ attempt. McCain’s folks were both American citizens, but he was born in Panama. In that case, parents status trumped over location. In That One’s case, I think the Who’s Yer Daddy question is more important than location. I would think that IF his daddy was Kenyan, all bets are off, regardless of being born here or there or planet Kzaltz 84. Without 2 full blown American parents, That One ain’t kosher for the White House.
I’ve been following this since August and it’s getting tougher and tougher to figure all this out! Maybe it’s just me but I think some folks are getting ‘native-born’ and ‘natural-born’ confused. There is apparently a big difference. add ‘naturalized’ into the mix and no wonder it’s getting murky. (ah, but hey, they’re “just words”, right?)
