“Marine...figures...he just seems naturally aggressive...”

You don’t know Marines very well.

Marines learn under constant duress how to focus their natural energies properly. Self-Control is key to a Marine’s success.

Their legendary effectiveness just scares the sh1t out of those dumb enough to impede the mission. The lesser among us wildly misinterpret this overwhelming use of force as naked aggression. Many times, this ignorance is a tool in and of itself.

This well tuned self-control is why they are always top-notch Marksmen. Each and every Marine must regularly qualify as Marksman, even the Commandant.

Aggression is the natural state of man. A Marine’s mission is to quell that base nature and refocus it on the task at hand, which is usually quelling the natural aggression of which you originally spoke.

I Thank God for the Marine’s

(Not a Marine myself, but I sincerely appreciate their sacrifices as well as the other services.)

Semper Fi

Happy ThanksGiving & Merry Christmas

My goodness...folks, if one is going to take offense, then by all means read the whole post...terms like “LOL!” generally denote a joke..I really should not have to write that out, folks should have enough...common sense...to piece that together for themselves..

I will take an old time Democrat like Zell over a RINO any day.

I wonder if McCain ever talked to Zell Miller about becoming his VP candidate.

And I am curious how well McCain Miller could have done.

My inexpert thought: the day of two white males on a Pres/VP
ticket are PROBABLY now over.

Hmmm... so how about we drop McCain?

If there's any silver lining to the recent election:
McCain has almost certainly past the "expiration date" as a viable
candidate for Pres/VP.

Yeah, I know that sounds "age-ist", but it's probably a realistic assessment.

Zell wasn’t always a conservative.

He was a segregationist turned Carterite turned Clintonite. He was pro-choice until he changed his mind in office.

Then suddenly he was a conservative democrat. Now’s he’s a conservative Republican who still calls himself a Democrat.

Strange political journey.
